Friday Update!

I just sold the last of hubby's work pants from his old job. There were 7 new pair that he had never worn yet and he was going to take them to Goodwill. I thought 'why not try to sell them?' so I did! Total profit for all 7 pair was $71.22! Not too bad for something that didn't cost us anything and for something that he was going to just give away!

Friday's Facts

I've been trying to get more listed this past week...working on getting some buttons listed in my button shop. Haven't sold any yet this week though! In fact it's been 4 days since I sold anything! Anybody need some jars? :)

Since my last post I sold 14 more of the 120 jars that I got a couple of weeks ago. Profit on the  120 jars so far is $323.05! Two of the sets below are jars from another time and I didn't include them in this total.

I was going to get up and go to some sales in the big town about  25 miles from us but there are only a few sales advertised and some of those started yesterday so I don't feel like I can justify the gas to go there. There probably are a few that aren't advertised and I'm really itching to get to some sales but then I think I should just stay home and work on our taxes and maybe work on listing some of the junk stuff that I still need to list before I accumulate more junk stuff!!! There is one sale in our town today so maybe I'll venture out in a while and go to Goodwill too.

Thanks for stopping by! ~~Pam

Got the Jars!

Well, I got my jars....120 of them! When the lady first called she thought she might have 50...then when I called her back the day I was supposed to get them she thought she had around 100....then when we went to pick them up she had 120 total! Good thing I had exactly $120 with me! She had mostly half gallon size which usually doesn't sell as fast but I do sell them for $9 or $10 so that's good! I actually sold  5 half gallons within a day or so and made a profit of $44.30 and then I got an order for 20 half gallons! I just shipped them out yesterday and made a profit of $162.97!!! It sure helps and at least I got our $120 back quickly! I figured that I could probably sell all of the jars for a total of around $1000....my profit would probably be around $800 after figuring the cost of the jars and fees. Not too shabby! Now I just gotta hope they sell soon....we could really use the $800!

I sold this office stamp holder within a few days of listing it. I had put $69.95 or Best Offer on it as it was the only one like it on EBay. I got an offer of $50 and I took it because I didn't want to take a chance that they wouldn't make another offer! I made a profit of $36.45 so not too bad!
