Kind of a crazy blog post title, isn't it? I can never think of anything catchy to put for a title...I guess I don't have anything too thrilling to report most days! One of these days I hope to have all the wonderful sales that a lot of you other bloggers do. Then I can just list my "top 5" or something because I will have waaayy too many sales to have to list them all! :) I need to invest in some new inventory but right now I need to list what I have and I don't think I have anything that's going to bring the big bucks!
Had to take my daughter to the E.R. again last night. Around 5:00 o'clock she all of a sudden got excruciating stabbing pains in her shoulder and neck on the same side as she had the back pain a few days ago. It was pitiful. It's crazy how it comes on so sudden! We gave her one of her pain pills and headed to the hospital. It took them forever to get an I.V. going on her. They did tests and x-rays and found nothing wrong. The doctor said it was just muscle spasms and she can take pain medicine and muscle relaxers at home as well as there. He had NO bedside manner. She didn't want to go home because the pain was still so bad but they said she didn't meet the "criteria" to be admitted! I guess pain so bad you can't stand it isn't enough in their book. So she made it through the night and today we had a doctors appt. and our doctor is running some more tests to see if she's deficient in magnesium, potassium or vitamin D. Maybe the pain last week wasn't actually from the other thing that they found. She has been having Charlie horses in her legs lately too so maybe she does have a deficiency in something. I sure hope she doesn't keep having this. It's terrible!
Well, I'm off to bed. Life's been crazy lately and I'm tired! Thanks for stopping by! ~~Pam
Hi Pam,
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear you daughter is still having problems. That is awful to have pain like that and get no help from the hospital. Hopefully the tests your family Dr runs will get some answers. The Charlie horses in her legs makes me think maybe she could be lacking in potassium. I hope she gets some answers and relief soon.
Rhonda
Sorry to hear that your daughter has more pain. As a parent, it really hurts to see our kids suffering. I hope the doctor finds the cause soon.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh Pamela, I hope they find out what's wrong. It sounds like one of those medical mysteries.
